Colours of the Ghanaian Savannah

In February 2018, the University of Applied Arts organised its first workshop with the Nubuke Centre for Textiles and Clay. The workshop was facilitated by Ladji Barry, a dyer and artist from Mali. The aim of this first workshop was to establish an initial basis for an “active archive” of the region’s material culture. The publication Colours of the Ghanaian Savannah (2019) is an archive of the workshop.
